In my garden: This rose is in the beautiful garden of my mother-in-law. It is growing in a relatively small container. It tends to get some blackspot towards the end of the season, but is strong enough and blackspot is not a showstopper as the rose does not defoliate and continues to bloom.

Origins of the name: Named for Mr Ulrich Mayer (German media personality) after his wife Georgia
